Location: Oldsmar / Westchase / Citrus Park Area of West Tampa, Florida
Join our team as we add a knowledgeable, detailed, and team-oriented Division 8 / Division 10 Project Manager responsible for analyzing and interpreting architectural drawings and managing projects from start to finish. Our PM will preferably have either Division 8, Division 10 or even Division 5 experience. Fenestration, glass, glazing, storefront, door, and canopy experience is a plus.
Project Manager Responsibilities:
- Manage projects from beginning to end with storefront, fenestration, glass and glazing, sheet metal, panel systems, door hardware, canopies, etc.
- Analyze blueprints specifications and details to ensure we are providing products that meet specifications.
- Work extensively with general contractors and subcontractors via phone and email to manage projects that will include a wide variety of material scopes like exterior and interior storefronts, curtainwall, framed/frameless and sliding glass doors, decorative sheet metal, acm (aluminum composite panels), canopies, sunshades, handrail and more.
- Provide detailed specifications, proposals, and accurate bid packages in a timely manner.
- Work with internal teams such as sales, project management, AutoCAD, and bid coordination to discuss additional or existing pre-qualified scopes and ensure all materials were bid properly and production is running smoothly.
- Meet deadlines and manage short construction timeframes.
- Create all work tickets and other paperwork necessary to put jobs into production.
- Work with internal AutoCAD team, engineers and others as needed.
- Ensure projects are completed on time and in budget.
- Other responsibilities as required.
Project Manager Requirements:
- 2+ years' experience in Building Materials / Division 8 / Division 10 / Division 5 / Fenestration / Glass / Glazing / Construction preferred.
- Knowledge of various types of division 8, division 5 and/or division 10 architectural building materials such as storefront systems, canopies, awnings, ACM (aluminum composite panel), handrail, asset protection, fenestration, storefront, door hardware, restroom partitions & accessories, preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints, preferred.
- Excellent computer skills absolutely required.
- Ability to self-motivate, work proactively and be an effective team player.
- Strong mathematical skills required.
- AutoCAD drafter experience a plus but not required.
- Experience with Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Xactimate, or other construction and/or estimating software a plus, but not required.
- Engineer experience / engineer degree a plus but not required.
